If you are looking for a summer camp near you, you should check out the fun arts sessions at Canvas n Cup.  Our summer camp sessions are designed for kids ages 7 and up.  Each session runs from 9am to 12pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

During our first week of summer camp, we offered a variety of creative activities and opportunities for your little artist to express themselves in a creative and fun environment.

Here are some of the activities we focused on during week one:

• Drawing and sketching: Campers learned fundamental drawing techniques, practice sketching from observation, and explore various styles and subjects.

• Painting: Campers were provided instruction in different painting mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, or oils. Your little artists experimented with different techniques and created their own paintings.

• Wood Sign projects: Campers explored three-dimensional art by working with wood and stencils. They learned basic techniques in working with sponges, wood glue and wood sanding.

• Mixed media and collage: Camper combined different materials, such as paper, fabric, found objects, and more, to create unique mixed media artworks or collages.

• Mini Crafts: Campers incorporated craft activities like paper crafts, or fabric arts, where they create DIY pencil cases, friendship bracelets and DIY cards.
