TJX Team Building
When the TJX team sought an off-site experience that balanced creative collaboration with personal celebration, they turned to Canvas n Cup. The goal was to provide an engaging, hands-on environment where team members could step away from the office, bond over shared experiences, and bid a fond farewell to a valued colleague transitioning to a new professional chapter.
The Painting Experience
To accommodate diverse creative interests, the group opted for a hybrid workshop format. Attendees were divided into two specialized tracks, allowing them to choose the medium that resonated most with them:
- Paint & Plant: Participants engaged in a dual-sensory project, blending artistic expression with botanical care. Each team member painted their own decorative pot before selecting and planting a resilient succulent, creating a personalized desktop companion.
- Wood Sign Workshop: For those with an interest in DIY home decor, this track focused on woodworking and customization. Attendees learned techniques for prepping, staining, and applying stencils to high-quality wood boards, resulting in bespoke signage for their homes.
Our instructors provided step-by-step guidance for both projects, ensuring that even those who considered themselves "not artistic" felt confident and proud of their finished products.
